Forest Springs
Eight acres of wonder
Most people come expecting to relax. They leave having reconnected with something they forgot was there. The 8-acre property is alive with native wildlife, threaded with walking trails, and anchored by a spring-fed dam.
Clad in corrugated iron with a natural patina that blends into the landscape, the cabin sits lightly on its 8 acres. The large deck stretches toward Coopernook State Forest — yours to watch the morning unfold from, coffee in hand.
The property borders the state forest directly, meaning the wilderness at your doorstep extends for thousands of unbroken acres.

The deck
The large timber deck runs the full length of the cabin and looks directly out to the tree line of Coopernook State Forest. A daybed, bar stools at the railing, and the sounds of the bush — morning coffee here is non-negotiable.

The evening ritual
As the sun drops below the canopy, the fire pit calls. This is where the day ends — with the crackle of ironbark, a glass of something good, and the slow emergence of stars above Coopernook.
Locally sourced firewood is available via the honesty box. Just leave the right coins and feed the fire.

Koalas, wallabies, echidnas, lace monitors, and an extraordinary diversity of birds — the Eastern Rosella, Channel-billed Cuckoo, Powerful Owl and many more. The land is managed with them in mind.
